For over 30 years, R-P has partnered with the Salvation Army to provide traditional Thanksgiving meals to people in the greater Muskegon area who, without this event, would not enjoy a turkey dinner.
This Thursday morning, we will be preparing 2,000 dinners to be delivered to our area’s needy. To pull this off, we always count on volunteers in our community to assist us. If you would like to help with preparing the meals for delivery or helping us deliver the meals, please come to the high school cafe between 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. to lend a helping hand. As they say, many hands makes light work.
The meals provided include, turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffing, roll and butter. We are thankful for the support of so many helpers over the years and without question, those that have received a meal in past years, appreciate this gesture of caring.
We hope to see you at the high school this Thanksgiving morning!
