A Financial Aid Workshop is being held this Saturday, January 23, from 10:00-11:30am at Muskegon Community College in Room 1100. This event will go over how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), one of the most important applications to fill out when applying for money for college. In addition to covering the how, when, and where of filling out the FAFSA, next steps will also be discussed as well as other types of funding for college, including scholarships. Although it is NOT necessary to be enrolled/planning to enroll at MCC to attend this event, Enrollment Representatives will be available to answer questions concerning how to become an MCC student. Reservations are required to attend this event as seating is limited. For additional information or to register, please call 231-777-0366 or visit http://goo.gl/yUxsbL .
Can’t make it on Saturday? Come to Reeths-Puffer High School’s Library Media Center on Tuesday, February 9 at 6:30pm to get information about paying for college! Computers will be available to do the FAFSA, and a financial aid expert from Baker College will be giving step-by-step instruction so you can get the FAFSA done that night! You must bring the appropriate financial aid information with you to complete the FAFSA (see what you need here: http://goo.gl/R4jMTG ).
