Third Annual “Art in the Moment” Brings Seven High Schools Together

On Saturday, November 21, Reeths-Puffer High School held its third “RP Art in the Moment Challenge,” where seven local schools form teams of 3-4 students to compete in a 5 hour art competition.  Student teams are challenged to create an original work of art out of found objects while adhering to the theme, “Out of Place.”  Local artist and Muskegon Museum of Art Preparator, Lee Brown, was the judge of this year’s competition.  First place was awarded to Muskegon High School, and runner up was Orchard View.  It was a great day of art for all involved.
