Mr. Krispin Recognized by College AP Board

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program and Educational Testing Service recently formalized a congratulatory statement about R-PHS English teacher, Mr. Ken Krispin for the significant contributions made during the 2015 AP Reading this past summer.

In June 2015, 559 high school AP English Literature and Composition teachers joined forces with college faculty who teach in the same discipline to score 403,122 exams in Louisville, KY.  The careful evaluations of students’ work by Mr. Krispin and other highly qualified professionals is one of the most important aspects of the AP Program.  A huge part of the AP Program’s success is due to an evaluation and scoring process by Readers who, by virtue of their experience and expertise, have appropriate student performance expectations within their respective disciplines.

We are grateful that Mr. Krispin chooses to assist the College Board over the summer as the experience of reading and scoring student work from across America will benefit our Rockets too. We are very proud to have Mr. Krispin teaching in our English department!
