On Monday, September 21st from 6:00-7:30pm, representatives from more than 50 colleges will be at Collegiate Hall on Muskegon Community College’s campus as part of Muskegon County College Night. During this event, which is free to the public, students and their families will be able to speak with these visiting college representatives and learn about the different colleges and what they have to offer.
For those interested specifically in colleges affiliated with Christianity, a Christian Colleges Fair is being held at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids also on September 21st from 6:30-8:30pm. There will be over 40 colleges from across Michigan and the United States represented.
This event is free to the public, who are also invited to participate in free financial aid workshops presented at the fair. Anyone interested in attending college is encouraged to go to one of these fairs as they provide a great chance to find out about multiple schools all in one location. Come prepared with all your questions about academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, etc. and ask them directly to the college representative of the schools you are interested in! Also, try and take some time to speak with representatives from colleges which you may not have heard of before or may not be considering. They could end up being your dream school!
