R-P Alumni Share College Experience with Current Seniors

Five R-P alumni now attending college recently returned to the high school to share about their experience as college students with current high school seniors. These alumni answered questions on a number of topics ranging from dorm life to academics to financing education as part of a panel discussion. When asked about the panel discussion afterward, some high school seniors commented that “It was really helpful to get advice from recent college students who were able to help guide me to my next step” and that “It was helpful to get insight on how college life actually is that counselors and college reps cannot give”. The alumni panel included Rachel Kendra (R-PHS ’11), studying Computer Science at CMU, Allie Krukowski (R-PHS ’12, MCC ’14), studying Elementary Education at GVSU, Eric Hilt (R-PHS ’12), studying Nursing at MCC, Tiarra Elliott (R-PHS ’14), studying Psychology at MSU, and Danielle Schugars (R-PHS ’14), studying Computer Science at MSU.
